I thought you might, but the problem is getting them in soft copy. If Mr. Marggraf will not give them to us in softcopy, I will try to re-type/scan them in myself so people can have access to them.
At Friday's Commission meeting, Mr. Bob Marggraf briefed the Commission on the Creation of Coolfont Community Enhancement District. After the briefing, Mr. Marggraf gave each Commissioner an "unofficial" copy and was going to leave one copy at the Commissioner's office for the public to review. However, after a brief discussion, Mr. Marggraf left an additional three copies for the public to review.
This was an "unofficial" copy because he wanted to give the commissioners a heads up. He is on the Commissioner's schedule for the next meeting to "officially" deliver the document. Once the Commission officially receives the copy they will have 30 days to review it and hold any public hearings pertaining to it.
The document (Petition of Property Owners for Creation of Coolfont Community Enhancement District) is 95 pages. Mr. Marggraf said the document was too large to send via e-mail so I sent him an e-mail to see if he could post it to their web page (feemancompanies.com).
In my opinion, any and all documents (unofficial and official) delivered to the Commission shoudl be in softcopy. If a petitioner deems it is too large to send via e-mail, then the documents should be delived on CD. Either way, everything should be in softcopoy. Softcopy makes it much more accessible to the public and makes it easier to distribute.
