I was reading the County Budget in the Messenger yesterday and didn't get a lot of satisfaction out of it, mainly because it only shows the top-level, rolled up version and doesn't include any detail.
I am sure I am not the only one that has questions or would like to see more detail. I have been to a few commission meetings and at every one, some group has been there asking for money and the commissioner's approved it. So, where in the budget are those line items?
I am trying to find out if there is a more detailed, expanded version of the budget available to the public.
