Berkeley Springs Coalition for the Performing Arts

 
1.  What is the Coalition?
An alliance of local performers and performing groups who are dedicated to promoting performances of Coalition members, encouraging an appreciation for the performing arts and building audiences for the performing arts in Berkeley Springs and the surrounding community.
 
2.  What do we do?
 
Promote the performances of local performers and ensembles through a performing arts calendar (printed and electronic version) that will list
All of the upcoming performance dates and venues for Coalition members and
Names of Coalition members and contact information.
o   Performing arts calendars will be
Included in the program(s) of member groups and
Distributed in the community
o   Performing arts calendars will be printed three times a year
September through December
January through May
June through August
Serve as a clearinghouse for performance dates for member groups and
Maintain a list of interested friends (who are sent electronic versions of the performing arts calendar).
 
3.  Who are we?
 
Established performers, performing groups, performing arts teachers and their students who
o   Present public performances and
o   Distribute programs at their performances.
5.  Who can join?
Any local performing arts ensemble (group, individual or teacher/students) that presents public performances and distributes programs at its performances.
o   How to join?
Complete application form and Send in a $30 membership fee
o   Membership benefits
Your performances listed on Coalition Calendars (distributed at all Coalition performances and throughout the community)
Copies of Coalition Calendars to distribute with your programs (and a pdf file of the calendar, if desired)
Your performances included on an email list sent to interested friends of the performing arts
o   Membership responsibilities
Agree to distribute Coalition Calendar at every local public performance
Agree to send a representative to two meetings per year to report on performance dates, venues, etc. for the following six months (meetings in January and August)
