This mornings Messenger article headlined "Hutchinson says Stotler & Swain continued meetings after she left" is very interesting, yet not surprising.  Regarding having a formal adjournment, Commissioner Stotler saying that "they had never done it that way and they were always in session" is another great example of him doing things his way and not the correct way.

I have been to a couple Commision meetings and before each one begins it is "officially started" by the administrative assistant followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

So Commissioner Stotler, if the Commission is always in Session then why is every meeting "officially started".  Also, if the Commission is always in session, does that mean you are obligated and willing to answer questions from citizens any hour of the day/night and any day of the week?  Or, since the Commission is always in session, how about scheduling some meetings in the evenings or on weekends when more of the public is able to attend?
