Yes, I would agree on needing more officers. Is this something that is possible in the future? I know the present officers have a hugh area to cover with understaffing a problem. Perhaps I should stop at the state police barracks on 522 and mention it to them. thank you for your reply

Morgan County currently has 10 officers that must cover all hours of the day across nearly 250 square miles of Morgan County.  We simply need more officers.

I have only been a resident of Berkeley Springs for about 18 months, but in that time I have noticed frequent reckless driving on Route 522. The speed can sometimes be a problem, but what worries me is how many people pass me on a solid line. I have even seen it on areas where visibly you can not see ahead enough to pass a driver. I have also experienced people passing me with vehicles approaching from the opposite direction and leaving inadequate time to make it safe. I have myself let off the gas pedal in an effort to keep clear of a fatality.  I can't for the life of me understand why these people do not value their lives more than they do. I would like to see 522 patrolled more and drivers given tickets.  I would like to know if others have observed this reckless driving.
